This snow cat is not pure alternative model because you need few Power Funtions parts and gears besides set 8294 to build it. Thanks to them model is fully motorized with remote control - each track is driven by one motor and the third motor lifts snowplow. Switching between drive and lifting snowplow is realised by changing channel of remote control, alternatively you can use two remote controls.
